Toby was born with retinopophy of prematurity some 40 years ago and is registered blind. He has a degree in photography and his passion for the arts has led him to his current role as Deputy Director (Service Development) of VocalEyes, a national charity providing access to the arts through audio description. He is also a keen sailor and has represented Great Britain at international blind sailing championships.
Toby will talk about the inspiring and important aims of the charity – its work, successes and future: inclusion and access to the performing arts writ large.
